A few posts ago (seedpods on Japanese paper) I referred to the bookshelf in the lounge room as being my ‘photo studio’ . Here ’tis! There are one or two items on it that you may recognise from previous posts, and one in particular you are yet to see (yes, the one with the star ornament and its shadow). Just a rough pic to show the strength of the incoming light. This is the unedited original.
And even in this pic, you can see how graphic those leaves in the coke bottle look! So, now you may understand how the light and what it does is such an inspiration for me. And when the sun creates shadowplay on the wall from breeze-tossed leaves from the closer trees outside, I sit transfixed and just look and feel uplifted and amazed at what nature can create! I am humbled in its presence and feel grateful for the opportunity to grasp just a little bit of it with my meagre photography and experiments.
The actual colour scheme throughout the apartment is a pale sand with a hint of warm pink, usually called mushroom pink, and this colour often adds some warmth to some of the PicSketch softer-hued imagery I’ve created; an extra bonus.
