I know, out of focus. What captured me with this most delicious dessert, enjoyed at one of St Kilda’s better restaurants, Rococo, is the abstract nature of this confection. You’re saying “strawberries and cream…really?” Yes, with slivered almonds, small clumps of delightfully chewy marshmallow, mint leaves and dollops of raspberry jelly and homemade vanilla ice cream. Yummy! A reminder of the iconic Eton Mess (also so delightful)…check Google.
