As already mentioned, I’m really getting into doing close-crops of some images that just lend themselves to creating interesting abstracts. This Agapanthus Seedpods series (yes, I have more…but later) is so suited to this treatment. I’m loving it. I hope you do too. In this process of trying to create “paintings”, I just play around in various software, as simple as that. Essentially layering the effects, as if it were Photoshop! Yes, I think I can say that with alacrity. I’m becoming very familiar with the outcome of these softwares on my smartphone that it is now possible for me to see the potential of some images. I think today’s  gallery post is a success, in my view.

So — when you see ‘various softwares’ in the caption, it means the layering of different effects in different softwares to produce the final image shown in the postings, and, today’s post is the first of what I call ‘Chinese ink paintings’. I hope you can see the similarity.
