In Picasa-speak, this effect would be called Glow, which in PicturesLab is called Soften. I’m not taken with all that specularization, but can live with it as I really wanted to increase the overall softening effect on the small bottle which already had water condensation on it that produced a natural softening. I’m happy.
The wonder of exploring the power of a new OS such as Win10 means I learn something and also gain something. In this instance, I have learned that the in-built Photos app, which I use to import the photos from my phone to my PC, also has automatic enhancing and a few other editing features found with the Lumia Creative Studio software on the phone. What I have gained means that I now have a re-touch tool, which means I can remove distracting spots and other nuisances from my downloaded photos and it works speedily and beautifully…wow. I have to resize these very large original images anyway before uploading to WP, so I’ve decided that it’s okay for me to use these tools to improve my imagery. I did not know all this when I prepared the above image. Please excuse.
